Biography
Adis Nurković (born 28 April 1986) is a Bosnian-born naturalized Kosovan footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. He played in many football teams in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Croatia, currently playing for Bosnian club NK Travnik and the Kosovo national team.
International career
Bosnia and Herzegovia
Nurković was a standard member of Bosnia and Herzegovina national under-21 football team and played two matches with the framework of 2009 UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifications, but he also debuted for the first and last time with Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team in friendly match against Iran on 12 August 2009.
Kosovo
Nurković was invited by Albert Bunjaki, to play for Kosovo, cause of good appearance of Nurković in NK Travnik lately. As his wife holds Kosovo citizenship he was eligible to change citizenship. Moreover, according to FIFA, as Nurković was born before the breakup of SFR Yugoslavia, he is eligible to play for any successive country given he had the citizenship of the country.
On 2 October 2016, he received the call-up in matches against Croatia and Ukraine, and on 5 October 2016, FIFA gives permission Nurković to play for Kosovo and Nurković is the first non-Albanian player of the Kosovo national team. Nurković was a unused bench in the two matches.
