Addie Land was born on April 28, 1988, in Seattle, Washington. She is a graduate of Nova High School, Seattle, Washington.
Land had spent many years studying at Seattle Children's Theater, where she was recommended to the director Enid Zentelis as a possible candidate for one of the lead roles in Zentelis' 2004 independent film Evergreen to be filmed in the Pacific Northwest. Land won the role of "Henri" and was seen alongside Cara Seymour, Mary Kay Place, and Noah Fleiss. The film was nominated for a Grand Jury Award at Sundance Film Festival.
Two years later, in 2006, Land was cast in one of the primary roles, as "Sophie," in Tim Skousen's comedy-drama The Sasquatch Gang, alongside Justin Long, Jeremy Sumpter, Rob Pinkston, and Joey Kern. The film won the Audience Award in 2006 at the Slamdance Film Festival, and was released in theaters in 2007, and on DVD in March 2008.
Land's last credit was Thom Harp's short film Fortune Hunters, starring Kelvin Yu, Jessica Skerritt, and Gedde Watanabe.
