Biography

Darien Dash is an Entrepreneur, and Strategic Advisor for C-Suite Executives, Government Officials, Hedge Funds, Professional Athletes, Entertainers, Ultra High Net Worth Investors, and Private and Commercial Banks. Mr. Dash is also the Founder of DME Interactive Holdings, where he was the first CEO of an African-American owned internet company to be publicly traded on Wall Street.  DME focused on hardware and software infrastructure within minority communities.

During his time at the University of Southern California, Mr. Dash earned his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science while also getting involved in positive causes on the campus. Darien would be selected for the Emerging Leadership Program, and Mr. Dash was also elected President of the Black Student Union. The University of Southern California is also where Mr. Dash got his first taste of music industry entrepreneurship when he helped facilitate the creation of Roc-A-Bloc Records with his cousin Damon. The Label made upwards of $100K and even signed an up and coming Jay-Z.

In the year 2000, Darien Dash was tapped by President Bill Clinton to find ways to make the internet more available to all Americans. This led to the formation of Places of Color, a technology that also featured HP CEO Carly Fiorina.  The company sold low cost PCs to minority communities throughout New York, and New Jersey. Places of Color would go on to be recognized as the Regional and National Technology Firm of the Year.

More currently Darien Dash is the Managing Partner of The Movement Management Advisors, a firm that focuses on providing strategic business advice to clients in sports, entertainment, cannabis, and capital market industries.
