Biography
Yuri Sydorenko (Ukrainian: Сидоренко Юрій Григорович: born August 13, 1961 in Kramatorsk) - a Ukrainian businessman in field of security printing, playing a key role in such companies as EDAPS Consortium, Holography Ltd., Commercial Industrial Bank and the International Group TRUSTCOR as well as a Russian philanthropist. He became nationally renowned for creating and promoting the national industry of security printing, manufacture of identification documents and information systems. Yuri Sydorenko became a churchwarden (sponsor) of the first Orthodox church in the UAE, for which he became numerously awarded by the Russian Orthodox Church. He is a Master of Sports of the USSR.
Biography
Yuri Sydorenko was born on August 13, 1961 in Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast in a family of doctors. During his lifetime he graduated the Kiev Technological Institute of Food Technologies as a processing engineer and the Kiev National Economy Institute of Korotchenko as an engineering economist. In 1983–85 Sydorenko served in the Soviet Army as part of signal communication forces.
Career
In 1985 Sydorenko joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and became employed in the sector of a food industry where he worked until 1989. In 1989 he founded the Trustcor Holding Inc that with time became operational in dozens various countries. In 2000 Sydorenko obtained an advisory position at the company Holography Ltd. and later in 2004 he was elected as a chairman to the advisory board of EDAPS Consortium. Eventually Sydorenko became a secretary of the Ukrainian parliament group for interparliamentary relations with the United Arab Emirates where he sponsored a local Russian Orthodox Church. Since 2010 Sydorenko is an owner of the Commercial Industrial Bank (headquartered in Kiev) through the Trustkor Holding Inc and its three subsidiaries: Agro-Dubl, Inko-Fort and Ferotrans. The bank chairperson is Lyudmyla Kontsedailo.
