Wayne Peter Entwistle (born 6 August 1958 in Bury) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker.
His clubs included Bury, Sunderland, Leeds United, Blackpool, Crewe Alexandra, Wimbledon, Grays Athletic, Carlisle United, Bolton Wanderers, Burnley, Stockport County, Wigan Athletic, Altrincham, Hartlepool United and Curzon Ashton. He played 331 games in a fourteen-year career and scored 82 goals.
Wayne now works for MPT on the Manchester Airport section of the new Metrolink as a storeman. Wayne has played for eight clubs that have all won the FA Cup, which is a record: Bury, Bolton, Burnley, Wigan, Wimbledon, Leeds, Sunderland and Blackpool.
