Biography

Walter Mathers Rutherford (6 May 1870 – 9 October 1936) was a Scottish golfer who competed in the 1900 Summer Olympics.
He was born in Newlands in the Borders. He won the silver medal in the men's competition with a score of 168 over 36 holes.
