Walter Denison (1870–1954) is a former lawn bowls competitor for New Zealand.
At the 1938 British Empire Games in Sydney he won the men's pairs gold medal alongside Lance Macey.
Competing at the same games was Walter's son Oswald Denison, who won a bronze medal in Rowing as part of the men's eight.
