Biography

Walter McFarlane Coulter MC (1891 – 20 May 1917) was a Scottish amateur football right half who played in the Scottish League for Queen's Park.

Personal life

Coulter served as a captain in the Highland Light Infantry during the First World War and was killed in France on 20 May 1917. Two months previously, he had won the Military Cross for "conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty". He is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
