Vlado Milunić (2008)
Dancing House in Prague

Vlado Milunić (born March 3, 1941) is a Czech architect of Yugoslav origin. He was teaching at the Czech Technical University in Prague.

Vladimir and Frank Gehry are frequently collaborators and together they designed the "Dancing House" (Czech: Tančící dům) in Prague which is one of his major works. He also designed a number of buildings in the Petřiny housing estate in Veleslavín, part of Prague 6.

Milunić was born in Zagreb, Croatia, at the time in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. His family moved out of Yugoslavia when he was 15, and he was educated in Czechoslovakia. Regarding his nationality, he is recorded as saying he is Czechoslovak and feels Yugoslavian, "as a protest against primitive nationalism".
