Vitaliy Parakhnevych (born 4 May 1969, in Donetsk, Ukraine, then Ukrainian SSR) is a retired Soviet footballer who became naturalized Tajikistani citizen in 1996, while playing in Korea. After the fall of the Soviet Union through 1996 he held the Ukrainian citizenship.
In August 1997, Tajikistan were to take 16 players to South Korea to face South Korea, but due to missing passports only 12 players traveled. As a result, the Tajikistan Football Federation called upon Parakhnevych and Valeri Sarychev who were currently playing in the K League.
