Todd Lookinland

Todd Lookinland (born March 1, 1965) is an American film and television child actor known for his roles in The New Land (1974), and Gunsmoke (1971-1974).

Short biography

Todd Lookinland was born as Eric Todd Lookinland on March 1, 1965, in Torrance, California. He is the younger brother of actor Mike Lookinland (born December 19, 1960.)

Lookinland made his acting debut in 1973, playing "Adam Gregory" in Theodore J. Flicker's TV movie Guess Who's Been Sleeping in My Bed? The same year, he appeared in an episode of the TV series Barnaby Jones.

In 1974, he landed the recurring role (six episodes) of Tuliff Larsen in the TV series The New Land. The same year, he was also seen in an episode of The Brady Bunch, in which his brother, Mike Lookinland was a regular as "Bobby Brady." 1974 also saw his film debut with Jerry London's comedy Goodnight Jackie starring Wendell Burton and Gregory Sierra.

Lookinland's other major television credits include How the West Was Won (1977), Wonder Woman (1978), and Beulah Land (1980). In 1984, he had a role in John G. Avildsen's action film The Karate Kid (starring Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita). He was last seen on the silver screen in 2008 in Derrick Scocchera's short film titled A Perfect Place.

Besides acting, Lookinland has also worked in the art department for such films as Lucas Reiner's The Spirit of '76 (1990), Henry Selick's The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), Jonathan Parker's Bartleby (2001), The Matrix Reloaded (2003), and Niels Mueller's The Assassination of Richard Nixon (2004).
