Biography

Timur Tuchinov (born Amitkhasha) is a Russian Paralympic archer. He won two gold medals at the 2012 Summer Paralympics. In 2013, he won a World Para Archery Championship in standing recurve archery.

Life

He is from Aginskoye, Zabaykalsky Krai. He studied with Dasinma Orboev. He was European champion, in 2006. He competed at the 2008 Summer Paralympics, 2011 EMAU Grand Prix, 2012 European Grand Prix, and 2012 Asian Grand Prix.

At the 2012 Summer Paralympics, he won a gold medal in the Men's Individual Recurve Standing, and the Men's Team Recurve Open, with Mikhail Oyun, and Oleg Shestakov.

He was a torch bearer for the 2014 Winter Olympics. He was given an apartment in Aginskoe.
