Biography

Thom Southerland is an English theatre director. He studied at Rose Bruford College . He is best known for his revivals of classic musicals on the London stage, especially on the fringe. Along with his award-winning Southwark Playhouse production of the Maury Yeston Titanic, some of his productions that have been highly acclaimed include: Daisy Pulls It Off, Gatehouse Parade, Southwark Playhouse Me and Juliet, Finborough Theatre State Fair, Trafalgar Studios The Full Monty, New Players Theatre Hobson's Choice, Broadway Theatre, Catford Mack and Mabel, Southwark Playhouse Victor/Victoria, Southwark Playhouse He was nominated for an Evening Standard Award for Parade in 2012, and won the Offies Award for Best Director for Me and Juliet in 2011.
