Flavius Theodorus Philoxenus Sotericus Philoxenus (natus saeculo 5, mortuus post annum 525) dux militum et vir publicus Imperii Romani Orientalis fuit.

Cursus honorum

Philoxenus inter annos 491 et 518 magister militum per Thracias fuit et anno 525 consulatum gessit una cum Flavio Anicio Probo Iuniore. Preterea Iustinus I imperator eum comitem domesticum nominavit.

Diptycha consularia quattuor adhuc exstant, partiter Latine partiter Graece scripta. Inscriptio diptychi, quod in Bibliothèque Nationale de France- Département des Monnaies, Médailles et Antiques - Chab. 3266 servatur, haec legitur:
