Early life

Lawrence was born on January 11, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio. She now resides in New York City.

Career

Lawrence made her off Broadway debut in the 2011 revival of RENT as the Seasons of Love Soloist. Since then Tamika has appeared in 7 Broadway shows, TV & Film and has released her 2017 album "UGLY" with her band "The Slay". Lawrence has announced that her debut record "Two Faced" will be released in 2019.
