Suzanne Oparil is an American biologist currently the Distinguished Professor of Medicine Professor of Cell, Developmental and Integrative Biology at University of Alabama at Birmingham and previously President of the American Heart Association, American Society of Hypertension and the first woman President to American Federation for Medical Research.
