Sun Ta-chuan (Chinese: 孫大川; pinyin: Sūn Dàchuān; born 18 December 1953), also known as Paelabang Danapan in the Puyuma language, is an educator and politician in Taiwan. He served as the Minister of the Council of Indigenous Peoples of the Executive Yuan from 2009 to 2013, and has been Vice President of the Control Yuan since 2014. He is a member of the Puyuma tribe in Taiwan.
Sun received his bachelor's degree in Chinese literature from National Taiwan University, and bachelor's degree in philosophy from Fu Jen Catholic University. He then earned his doctoral degree in sinology from Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium.
Before entering the political world, Sun was a professor at the National Chengchi University in Taipei.
