Biography

Sofi Flink (born 8 July 1995) is a Swedish athlete who has the Swedish national record for javelin throwing, a record she got when she broke her previous record at the 2013 World Championships in Athletics, with a throw of 61.96 in the qualifying round. At the 2013 World Championships in Moscow Flink came in 10th place in the final after throwing 59.52 in her first senior competition. In 2013, Flink won the gold medal at the European Junior Championships after throwing only one centimetre longer than the second Christin Hussong.
