Biography
Shilpa Singh is an Indian dancer, model and beauty pageant titleholder from Samastipur district in the Indian state of Bihar. She was the runner-up at I AM She – Miss Universe India 2012. She represented India at the Miss Universe 2012 pageant at Las Vegas and made it to the top 16.
Professional life
Singh completed her B. Tech. in Computer Science from Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering, NMIMS university of SVKM, Mumbai. She works for Infosys Technologies.
In October 2012, Singh replaced Urvashi Rautela, the original winner of I Am She 2012, who was found to be too young to compete.
Miss Universe 2012 Pageant
At the pageant, Singh was selected among the Top 16 semi-finalists and ended India's four year drought at Miss Universe.
