Sharmila Melissa Yogalingam (born September 13, 1985) is a writer from Singapore. She was specially commissioned to write the lyrics of the theme song for Project Hope (Singapore), which ended up being entitled 'With Hands United'. The song was performed at the beginning of Project Hope in 2009, and served as the finale song for this important national televised fundraising event as well. The song was so well received, it was once again performed the following year, in 2010's Project Hope.
In 2011, Yogalingam was nominated for the Pesta Perdana awards, in the category for Best Theme Song, for her song 'With Hands United'.
