Biography
Shamsul Alam Pramanik is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the former Member of Parliament of Naogaon-4.
Career
Pramanik was elected to parliament from Naogaon-4 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 1996 and 2001. He was faced accusations of supporting Bangla Bhai, an Islamist terrorist, and his extremist organisation. He was sued by the Government of Bangladesh for providing financial supporty to Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh, an extremist terrorist organisation, in 2008.
