Sergei Leonidovich Rubinstein (1889–1960) was a soviet psychologist. In 1921 he became the professor of the department of philosophy and psychology in Novorossiysk university. He is known for discovering fundamentally new and highly promising trends in the development of psychological science and philosophy. For his work “The principles of general psychology” he was awarded the Stalin Prize in 1942.
