Sara Aagesen Muñoz (born in 1976) is a Spanish engineer serving as Secretary of State for Energy since 17 January 2020.
Sara Aagesen trained as a chemical engineer at the Complutense University of Madrid.
In 2019, she represented Spain at the COP25 which was held in Madrid. She was an advisor to Teresa Ribera in the Ministry of Environment since June 2018.
On 17 January 2020, she was appointed Secretary of State for Energy. She is in charge of the ecological transition in Spain.
In November 2024 she was announced to become the Third Vice President of the Spanish Government and Minister for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, replacing Teresa Ribera.
