Saqib Idrees Taj

Saqib Idrees belongs to a political family from Shakargarh and contested 2008 elections as independent candidate, his father Chaudhry Idrees Taj (Late) was a notable politician and Member National Assembly in Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq Cabinet, he was very famous for his speeches against the military dictatorship. Saqib's grandfather Chaudhry Abdul Rahim (Late) was also Member Legislative Assembly before the independence of Pakistan in 1947 and Member National Assembly many times. Saqib is an engineer by profession and a graduate from RMIT University Melbourne Australia.
Saqib Taj is now a part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and a member of Central Executive Committee and Vice President Youth Wing Punjab
