S. Akbar Zaidi

S. Akbar Zaidi is a Pakistani who is the current Executive Director of the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.

Previously, he has been a faculty member at the Institute of Business Administration, Columbia University, the University of Oxford, and Johns Hopkins University.

Early life and career

He received his Bachelors in Economics from the University College London in 1977–80. Then, he completed his Masters in Social Planning of Developing Countries from the London School of Economics in 1981–82. For further studies, he went to the University of Cambridge from where he completed his doctorate degree.
