Biography
Roshni Kapoor (born 30 April 1989) is an Indian actress, producer and brand endorser who works predominantly in Hindi cinema. She is known for her role in the Bollywood song "Mashooq Mere" with co-actor Mrunal Jain. She appeared in the movie The Rage-Over Injustice, which screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Personal life
Roshni was born in Srinagar, India and grew up in Amritsar, Punjab. She did her schooling at Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School and went to BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar to pursue her graduation. She has one elder brother. Her father K. C. Kapoor was a businessman, and her mother Rani Kapoor was a lawyer.
Career
Roshni has endorsed more than 500 brands all over the globe. She has been a part of more than sixty product launches, inaugurations and beauty pageants as a celebrity guest and jury.
She has won various awards including Youth Icon Award 2019, Most Stylish Diva of India 2020, The Role Model Of The Year 2020, The Top Brand Endorser 2021, Lokmat Women Achiever Award 2021. She has done ad films and events with actors likes Sudha Chandran, Milind Gunaji and Sahil Khan.
Roshni is a vice president, Western Cell, Pune, of All Indian Reporter's Association, former brand ambassador of Jehangir OraCare Dental Centre and current brand ambassador of Derma Touch India.
Philanthropy
Kapoor is also a social activist. She has done many campaigns of contributing sanitary pads for minor village girls and also done many activities towards the improvement of women living and employment for their own survival.
