Biography

Rosemary Morgan (born September 12, 1983,) is an American actress and producer known for her roles in Star Trek: Voyager (1995), Reign Over Me (2007), and Nancy Drew (2007).

Early life and education

Rosemary Morgan was born on September 12, 1983, in Los Angeles, California, to actors Christopher Morgan and Julie Cobb. Both of her grandfathers, Harry Morgan from her father's side and Lee J. Cobb from her mother's side, appeared in the 1962 Western classic How the West Was Won. 

She is the half-sister of Jeremy Morgan (film crew, transportation department) and Terence N. Morgan (film crew, art department.)

Morgan studied law at New York University School of Law.

Career

Morgan studied acting and drama under film director Milton Katselas at Beverly Hills Playhouse.

She made her acting debut in 1996, appearing as a guest star in the role of "Piri" in The Chute episode of Star Trek: Voyager TV Series. Incidentally, her mother, Julie Cobb, also made her debut with a guest role in the original Star Trek series in 1968.

In 2000, Morgan was seen playing the character of "Helen" in Everybody's Special at Chicago Hope episode of TV series Chicago Hope. Most recently, in 2010, she was seen in directors Neal Thibedeau and Sarah Louise Wilson's romance-drama The Accidental Death of Joey by Sue (starring Steve Talley and Mercedes LeAnza).

As a producer, she released her first short film titled Night Vet in 2010. The film was written and directed by her mother, Julie Cobb, and had James Cromwell in the lead role. Morgan happens to be the step-daughter of Cromwell. Her half-brother Jeremey Morgan served as the associate producer for the film.
