Biography

Rob Mul (born 11 November 1940) is a Dutch former football defender. He played from July 1960 to June 1969 for NAC Breda. He became professional on 11 November 1961 and played 100 matches in the Eredivisie. He has been the team captain. In 1965 he suffered from a serious concusion after a collision with Sportclub Enschede player Willem de Vries. In 1966 a referee stopped a turbulent match against Xerxes while, according to Mul, the referee told him while walking from the field that three more minutes has to be played.

His father was international football goalkeeper Evert Mul.
