Mae hi wedi ysgrifennu nifer o lyfrau am hanes, gwleidyddiaeth, dosbarth cymdeithasol a ddiwylliant pop yn cynnwys: Clampdown: Pop-Cultural Wars on Class and Gender a Petticoat Heroes: Gender, Culture and Popular Protest.
Mae hi wedi cyfrannu i’r cyfrolau Women Make Noise: Girl Bands from Motown to the Modern a Triptych: Three Studies of Manic Street Preachers’ The Holy Bible. Roedd hefyd yn olygydd Under My Thumb: Songs that Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them.
