Biography

Rani Sarker full name Mosammat Amirun Nesa Khanam (Bengali: রানী সরকার) is a Bangladeshi film actress. She started her acting career in Bengali cinema in the sixties decade. In 2014, she was awarded National Film Awards for Lifetime Achievement Awards for her outstanding contibution in Bengali films.

Early life

Rani Sarkar was born on Sonatola village of Kaliganj thana of Satkhira district of Khulna Division in Bangladesh. Her father's name is Solaiman Mollah and mother's name is Asia Khatun. She completed her primary education from Satkhira Sonatala UP school. Since then, she passed matriculation examination from Khulna Coronation Girls School.
