Biography

Randy Sosin (born April 20, 1962) is an American film and music video producer.

Career

In 1992, Sosin joined The End Productions as an Executive Producer, overseeing music videos.

In 1995, Sosin became Vice President of music video production at A&M Records. At IGA, he oversaw visual content and commissioned music videos for artists including Eminem and Marilyn Manson. In partnership with Interscope, Sosin produced the 2005 feature concert film, Sarah Silverman: Jesus is Magic, along with Heidi Herzon and Mark Williams.

Sosin co-created the 2006 Showtime series, “Interscope Presents: The Next Episode”, a reality-show series about battle rap. The show was in Entertainment Weekly’s Top 10 Television Series of the Year in 2003.

From 2010 to 2012, Sosin held the position of Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Programming at MTV.

In 2012, Sosin joined electronic music event promoter, Insomniac, a LiveNation joint venture, as Senior Vice President of visual content. From 2012 to 2018, Sosin worked alongside CEO Pasquale Rotella creating trailers, visuals, and content for live EDM festivals including the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC).
