Biography

Philip Thomas Sandland (15 December 1882 - 1970) was an Australian rules footballer who played with North Adelaide in the SAFA.
When Sandland won the Magarey Medal in 1901 at the age of just 18 he became the youngest ever player to win the award, a record that remains to this day. That season he represented South Australia in two interstate matches. The following year he went to live in Western Australia but returned to North Adelaide for their 1902 Grand Final win over South Adelaide.
