Paula Lapido (born 1975 in Madrid) is a Spanish writer. Lapido holds a degree in Physical Science and works as a software engineer. She shares an equal passion for literature and classical music. She has published the short story book Teoría de todo (2010). Teoría de todo became runner up for the VII Setenil Prize to the Best short stories collection in 2010. Her stories have appeared in several anthologies, such as: Cosecha Eñe 2009 (2009) Mi madre es un pez (2011) PervertiDos (2012) Náufragos en San Borondón (2012) No entren al 1408, a tribute to Stephen King.
