Biography
Patricia Quinn (aka Pat Quinn) is an American film and television actress, known for appearing in Gunsmoke, Alice's Restaurant, and An Unmarried Woman.
Quinn was born as Ariane Quinn on June 20, 1937 in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
She made her acting debut in 1965 with the role of "Inez" in the hit television series, Dr. Kildare. The following year, she made her film debut in Boris Sagal-directed film, Made in Paris.
After appearing in two more television series, Gunsmoke (1966,) and Judd for the Defense (1968,) she was cast as the lead character, Alice, alongside Arlo Guthrie and James Broderick in Arthur Penn-directed film, Alice's Restaurant.
In 1978, she played the role of Sue in the hit comedy-drama An Unmarried Woman.
Her last film was Confessions of a Hitman, in 1994.
Personal life
Quinn married Don Hawkins in 1963. The married ended in a divorce in 1975.
In the early 1970s, Quinn briefly dated actor Marlon Brando.
In January 1995, she married English actor Robert Stephens; the couple remained married until Stephens' death on 12 November 1995.
