2023-2024: ATP debut and first win, maiden Challenger title and top 150
Llamas Ruiz made his ATP main draw debut in 2023 Lyon after qualifying for the main draw. He won his first ATP match over Max Purcell. He lost to top seed Félix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets in the second round .
He qualified in 2024 Montpellier and recorded his second ATP win over Richard Gasquet.
