Biography
Olivier Meslay is the Felda and Dena Hardymon Director of the Clark Art Institute. He is the fifth director of the Clark.
Biography
Melsay was born on December 4, 1956 in Rabat, Morocco. He attended Université Paris-Sorbonne and Ecole du Louvre. He served as associate director of curatorial affairs, senior curator of European and American art, and The Barbara Thomas Lemmon Curator of European Art at the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) and curator of British, American, and Spanish paintings at the Musée du Louvre. He is a member of the editorial board of The British Art Journal, London, and is a member of the Société d’Histoire de l’Art Français, Paris. Meslay is married to scholar Laure de Margerie.
