Oliver Dorigo is an American oncologist who has published 14 peer reviewed publications and numerous textbook chapters. He obtained his M.D. degree from the University of Heidelberg Medical School in Germany and then had three years of training at the University of Munich. Later, he moved to San Diego, California where he found a job at the Sidney-Kimmel Cancer Center where he was studying cancer gene therapy. He joined University of California, Los Angeles in 1995 and served there as a resident till 1999. There, he also studied at the Molecular Biology Institute with Arnold Berk and in 2003 became a member of its STAR program. By 2005, he completed his fellowship at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and became an assistant professor there.
