Biography
Nolan Evans (1885 – 1948), sometimes known as Peggy Evans, was an English professional football left back who played in the Football League for Clapton Orient.
Personal life
Evans fought with the 17th (Service) Battalion of the Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment) (more popularly known as the 1st Football Battalion) during the First World War. He was wounded at Delville Wood.
