Biography

Nikki Griffin (born April 16, 1978) is an American talent manager, editor/writer, and a former film and television actress known for her roles in The O.C. (2005-2006), The Young and the Restless (2004-2009), and Average Bloke (2015). As a writer, she was the editor-at-large for Geek Magazine (2012—2017).

Early life

Nikki Griffin was born on April 16, 1978, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to Jeanne, a nurse, and Eugene Griffin, an army engineer. The family relocated to Germany when she was two. They moved back to the U.S. six years later and settled in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she attended New Hanover High School.

Career

Griffin started modeling at the age of 10 and spent three consecutive summers working in New York City, represented by Wilhelmina and then Ford Kids. Back at her school, she was introduced to the world of movies by her teacher Marc Matney, a voice actor and producer/director.

After finishing her education, Griffin moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue a career in acting. She began with a minor, uncredited role in a November 1999 episode of the TV series Dawson's Creek. The following year, she landed a minor role in Michael Tollin's romance-comedy Summer Catch starring Freddie Prinze Jr., Jessica Biel, and Fred Ward.

Her first significant role was in Jay Chandrasekhar's 2005 comedy The Dukes of Hazzard with Seann William Scott, Johnny Knoxville, and Jessica Simpson. She played the character of Louisiana-native "Katie Johnson", the love interest of the Duke cousins (Knoxville and Seann William Scott.)

In 2005-2006, Griffin played the role of a cocaine-addicted partygoer "Jess Sathers" on the television series The O.C., which brought her to a wide audience. In 2006, she was seen as "Cindy" in Justin Lin's Fast and Furious franchise: Tokyo Drift starring starring Zachery Ty Bryan, Lucas Black, and Shad Moss (Bow Wow). She played the role of Clay's (Zachery Ty Bryan's) girlfriend.

Her most recent silver screen appearance was in 2018 in the role of "Lola" in Mark A. Altman's romance-comedy Porthole with Steve Agee, Viva Bianca, and Miklós Bányai.

Griffin is also a writer. From March 2012 to June 2017, she was the editor-at-large for Geek Magazine. She also had her writings published on marvel.com.

Currently, she is working as a talent manager for Beverly Hills, California-based Main Title Entertainment.
