Biography

Nicolas Jover is a German-born French football manager who is the set-piece coach for Premier League club Arsenal. Besides France, he has managed in Croatia and England.<

Career

Born in Berlin, Jover started his coaching career at Montpellier as a video analyst and assisted several managers such as René Girard, Jean Fernandez and Frédéric Hantz at Stade de la Mosson from July 2009 to June 2019. While working at Montpellier, he took a match analyst role for Croatia for a brief spell in 2013. He then moved to England as an assistant coach of Dean Smith at Brentford from July 2016 and was a part of Smith's successor Thomas Frank's coaching team until June 2019. In July 2019 Manchester City appointed Jover as an assistant to Pep Guardiola, specializing in set-pieces, where he met Mikel Arteta who was the No.2 at the Etihad. Arteta left Manchester City for the Arsenal's manager job in December 2019, when he persuaded Jover to join the North London club. Jover is currently acting in the same role he had at Man City, a set-piece coach of Arsenal.
