Nicolas Cowan (born 13 September 1979) is an actor. He is best known for his role in Surf Ninjas
Early life
Nicolas Cowan was born on 13 September 1979 in Los Angeles, California, to a Filipino father and Irish-German mother. He became interested in acting at a young age.
Career
Cowan made his feature film debut in the 1987 crime drama, No Man's Land starring Charlie Sheen, but was subsequently cut out of the film. In 1989, he made his first TV appearance with a minor role as "Gray Fox" in the episode "Burial Ground" of the TV series Paradise. He went on to have a small part in the 1991 sci-fi horror film, Alligator II: The Mutation as Felipe. He later appeared as "Eric DeLong" in two episodes of In the Heat of the Night –– Trundel's Will Be Done, and A Correct Settling.
In 1993, he co-starred in his biggest role to date alongside Ernie Reyes, Jr. in Surf Ninjas, as his brother Adam.
In 2017, Cowan appeared in episode 157 of How Did This Get Made? to briefly discuss his appearance in Surf Ninjas.
Cowan was last seen portraying the character of a burger boy in Chris Graue-directed short film The 131ers: Crazy (2018), alongside Brittney Escalante, Tim Maurer, and Maya Rao.
