Biography

Mujeeb R. Malik from the NSAS/Langley Research Center, was awarded the status of Fellow in the American Physical Society, after they were nominated by their Division of Fluid Dynamics in 2008, for pioneering contributions to the understanding of the breakdown of cross flow vortices in three-dimensional boundary layers, attachment-line and hypersonic boundary layer instability including real gas effects, and developing physics-based methods for the prediction of laminar-turbulent transition.
