Mose Penaani Tjitendero (25 December 1943 – 26 April 2006) was a Namibian politician and educator. Born near Okahandja, Tjitendero joined the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO) and was the Speaker of the National Assembly of Namibia from independence on March 21, 1990 until his retirement in 2004. He was also Chairman of the SWAPO Central Committee from 1981 to 2004.
Tjitendero is a National Hero of Namibia and buried at Heroes' Acre in Windhoek.
