Morshed Ali Khan Panni is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the former Member of Parliament from Tangail-8.
Panni was born in the Karatia Zamindari family. His older brother is Wazed Ali Khan Panni Banting, the motowalli or the supervisor of the Zamindari estate. The two brothers had a dispute after Banting rented Rokeya Manzil of the estate to Lighthouse School, a school established by Islami Chhatra Shibir in 2000.
Panni was elected to Parliament from Tangail-8 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 1979. He was elected to Parliament in 1988 from Tangail-8 as a Jatiya Party candidate.
