Miqdaad Versi

Miqdaad Versi is the Oxford-educated assistant secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, a democratic Muslim umbrella body in Britain with over 500 affiliates, representing national, regional and local organisations, mosques, charities and schools. One of the Council's active public representatives, Versi is also engaged with the media voicing concerns over the misrepresentation of Muslims. Versi occasionally writes opinion pieces for the Guardian and the Independent. He is a board member of Rights Watch UK.
