Mikhail Tumasov is a Russian LGBT activist. In 2011 he founded the Avers LGBT movement in Samara in response what was known as the 'Milonov law', which banned “propaganda of homosexuality”. He previously worked with the Interregional Movement of the Russian LGBT, and is now the network director for the Russian LGBT Network. In 2012, he was attacked with acid after coming out to a friend.
