Biography

Miguel Ángel Flores Rodríguez is born & raised in Mexico City, Mexico on August 14, 1975. Earning a match official accreditation from FIFA on passing the final exam to become the International football referee full-time by replacing the retired referee Jaime Herrera Garduno in August 2011.

Prior moving up to the Mexican Primera Division, he has refereeing 23 matches in the Mexican Primera "A" for two seasons. On March 11, 2007 - his first official as referee in the match between Lobos BUAP & Cruz Azul Hidalgo, the result was Cruz Azul Hidalgo defeating Lobos, 4-2.
