Biography
Michael Levin (born August 8, 1958) is an American, New York Times best-selling author and the coauthor of a Number 1 Kindle business best seller. On January 20, 2012, Michael appeared as a guest entrepreneur on the ABC Television show Shark Tank. He began a column for the New York Daily News on January 26, 2016. He is the CEO of BusinessGhost, Inc., a ghostwriting firm that has written and published more than 300 books, including 11 national best sellers.

Personal life
He has performed with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He is an Amherst College graduate, a Columbia Law School-trained attorney and a non-practicing member of the Massachusetts bar. He served for many years as a member of the Authors Guild Council and as Treasurer of the Authors Guild Foundation.
A distance athlete, Michael has completed more than a dozen triathlons and half marathons, and 13 full marathons since his 44th birthday. He will run his seventh Boston Marathon in the last ten years (including the disrupted marathon in 2013) in 2016. In his previous Boston Marathon runs, he has raised more than $65,000 for Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
He ran as a guide runner for disabled runners for Achilles International in the 2010, 2011, 2014, and 2015 New York City Marathons and in the 2013 Los Angeles Marathon.
Levin is a recovering alcoholic, with over 2 decades of sobriety as of 2016.
