Manny Martinez is an American drummer. He was the original drummer of the punk rock band The Misfits.
Martinez initially played in many local bands in Lodi, New Jersey. Seen as a veteran on the local scene, Manny played in groups with Glenn Danzig, and in January 1977, he was asked by Glenn to perform in his first serious musical project, The Misfits. After two months of rehearsals, Manny introduced his friend Gerald Caiafa (later changed to Jerry Only) to play bass, completing the band's first line-up.
Martinez's jazz style of playing drums was recorded only on the first single, Cough/Cool. At the end of 1977, after several concerts, Manny had to leave the band and was replaced by Jim Catania.
