Biography

Malcom Filipe Silva de Oliveira (born 26 February 1997) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for French Ligue 1 club Bordeaux.

Career

Corinthians

Malcom began his career in the youth of Corinthians. He was called by coach Mano Menezes to integrate the main team of Corinthians in 2014. He was a regular first team player during the 2015 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A championship campaign. He had a total of 73 games and 10 goals scored during his ternure at the club.

Bordeaux

On 31 January 2016, Bordeaux announced that Malcom signed with the club for an undisclosed fee.

International career

Malcom was called up to Brazil's under-20 team to compete in the 2015 South American Youth Football Championship, where he scored 1 goal in 6 matches as the Brazilians finished 4th.

Malcom was called as a replacement for Kenedy at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup on May 17. He participated in 5 matches, including the Final, where Brazil lost to Serbia.
